Just another day in paradise...

We share this place with critters of all shapes and sizes:
coyotes and wild turkey, Gertie the resident groundhog, & white tailed deer-
What a place to birdwatch, too!
Goldfinches, cardinals, housefinches, titmice, white-breasted nuthatches, rose-breasted grosbeaks, scarlet tanagers,
thrashers, orioles, bluebirds , turkey vultures, great blue herons,
& ruby throated hummingbirds - just to name some....
Dawn is an exceptional time to watch and listen.
And don't forget The astronomer's delight begins at the horizons and
embraces the deep mysteries of the universe, just hinted at in the southern sky
as there we are treated to the teapot constellation, tipped just enough
to pour her steam of the milky way all the way overhead -
replete with detailed dust lanes across our full night sky.
It is a breathtaking, and all too rare view for many folks these days.
We built the Inn at Deep Sky Ranch to share with friends and family....
so now you know why we say.....
"Welcome- Birds by Day,
Stars by Night,
and Friends by... Often!"
